My boyfriend and I have been together since we were 15. Now we are 20. I’m going into my 3rd year of college but my boyfriend has chosen not to go to college. Would this be a dealbreaker for you?

Why would it be? My husband didn’t go and owns a successful business. There’s more ways than a college degree to make money. 😊

I would pay more attention to his motivation in the work field more than his education. If he is motivated to grow and really push himself in the job field, then he will be fine without school. However, if you think it's a sign of a lack of motivation, then I would see that as a red flag.

No? Everyone takes different paths. As long as he have a goal and know what he wants to do then I don't see why you need to leave him, unless you undermind people who doesn't go to college

We all need to understand that going to college does not equal success. Actually, unless you have a scholarship or parents to pay for it the only thing college guarantees is debt and lots of it.

Not as long as he’s doing SOMETHING with his life. Certification programs, trade school, or even working up to an assistant manager at a retail store. Just something that’s not commonly done by high schoolers and pays enough to live.

I don't need my man to make the exact same life choices as me. If I'm with my partner I'm with them for who they are, not what degree they hold.
If you're seriously considering if this is a deal breaker it's probably a sign you  need to go ahead and call it off for a few reasons..
