It’s called phishing.  They’re literally fishing for your information.  Then they’ll hack your accounts and steal your money.  Best not interacting with these people, period.  Malware can be installed on your computer without your knowledge.

What do you mean how does this work?  They’re asking for all of your personal information and a picture of your bank card (front and back). They’re literally asking for every piece of information they would need to access your account and steal your money.  They can also use your personal information to hack any other account you have.  Is this person a friend of yours?  Cause they are a legit criminal actively trying to steal from you.

Please please don’t fall for it. It’s very obviously a scam. All you need for a money transfer is your account number. They are asking for very personal info they would never need for a transfer of any kind.

When you give someone your bank info and your social, you’re basically asking for identity theft. 
They pretend to be you and drain your accounts and rack up debt in your name. 
Don’t do it.
