At what week did you guys start dilating with your first?

I’m currently 34 weeks and I know some people start dilating before then. I’m just curious because my hip/pelvic pain is so bad and I wonder if I started yet

I don’t get cervix checks till after 40weeks. They aren’t necessary unless for medical reasons. When I was checked at 40 weeks I was barely 1cm. At my 41 week appt I was just enough to get a sweep. I did most of my dilating in the last 3 hrs of my 14 hr labor.

I was checked once at 24w with my first because of a kidney infection and was 1cm then.  Was induced at 38w with her.

I wasn’t checked but I had her at 37 weeks. When I got to the hospital I was already 10 cm dilated. The other 3 I was dilated pretty far before active labor so I’m sure I was dilated with my first too
