I’m desperate to become pregnant. We’ve been trying for almost 2 years and no luck. My mom told me to take birth control pills and miss a few pills to help increase my chance of getting pregnant. She gave me 3 packs of her birth control pills (Syeda) that she no longer uses. It doesn’t expire until next year. I’m curious to try it, I’m desperate to try anything. I went to the OBGYN and she’s waiting for my boyfriend to get a semen analysis done before she prescribes me Letrazole (a medicine to help induce ovulation) My question is, can I get pregnant if I use Syeda (birth control pills) and just skip a few pills and track ovulation using OPKs? No negative feedback please, my heart aches as we’ve tried for so long with no luck.. I just want a chance man. :(
