Is this legal?

Our apartments we live in just got sold to someone else yesterday June 6 and today the whole apartment complex got eviction notices that everyone has to be out in 2 weeks. There is over 15 apartment building with 30 apartments on each building. Where is everyone gonna go?? Is this legal? EDIT: sorry forgot to put that I am in Washington state

I'm pretty sure they HAVE to give a 30 day notice not 14 days.

30 day notice at the very least.Do you you have a lease agreement ? I think thats considered them breaking it

I live in TX, and this happened to my ex-boyfriend. That is pretty crazy though. I don’t understand why they would want to evict everyone that would be bringing them an income by staying. 
Actually, my ex didn’t get an eviction notice but a notice that they would be raising rent by like $200, so he chose to leave. A flat out eviction seems wrong.

Doesn’t sound illegal. Happened to my family few years back when we were living in a single family home tho... but I think we had more than two weeks (CA).
