Are these feelings normal?

We are expecting our first baby, a boy!! We are so excited! We were sitting outside enjoying a bonfire, just my husband and I. And it hit me that this is our last summer and few months as just us. Forever. As just husband and wife. And I got emotional. I do NOT regret this baby whatsoever. I guess the change of everything just hit me. Are these feelings normal??

I can’t get over the fact that this Christmas and Thanksgiving there’s going to be a BABY with us! It will be our 10th year celebrating together. All these traditions we’ve created and now we’re going to add our own little human to the mix. 😍

Yes. Very normal. We’ve been trying for our second rainbow baby for two years and had two losses in that time. Our baby is VERY much wanted! But the other day I just felt sad that our family dynamic is changing. Pregnancy is weird and big changes like that are hard even when they’re good and wanted.

This literally just happened to me about a week ago. It all of a sudden hit me, and I started crying. We’re so excited for this time in our life, but it’s definitely bittersweet and a huge change! You’re not alone😊

Yes, mine didn’t hit until baby was here and I realized I can’t just leave and go wherever I want whenever I want.... why it hit so late?!🤷‍♀️ crazy, but now we are well adjusted with our 20 month old and feel so much more prepared bring this little boy home!
