Autism anyone else have a baby on the spectrum?

So I'm currently 21 weeks with my fifth baby my fourth was born autistic shes amazing nonverbal however I'm currently taking classes for summer to learn sign to teach her to speak I'm constantly  feel like Iam failing when she has a melt down witch is probably  like 3-4 times a day at least xat night around 1am then again at 3am at least 2 during the day otherwise shes constantly laughing  smiling I feel so guilty like I did this to her it makes me cry so much of course when shes not around  does anyone else have a child  on the spectrum  ? If so how do you deal with the meltdowns ?

You can get PECS which is picture exchange communication system. It’s what they teach in some schools so she is able to communicate there are like 7 phases. You start off by having pictures in a book that she can take off to show you what she wants. It can be food a drink a toy movie anything and in the first phase you have all her items in front of her she has to hand your the picture and you automatically reward her with that item. Then it moves on to giving the person two choices and having them choose and which item is more preferable and then you move on to sentences with the words in pecs as well “I want” and the picture of that item. It just build from there. Sign is good but if someone doesn’t know what she is signing it will lead to frustration and a possible meltdown.  You can also say show me what you want and have her lead to you what she needs and want. If she does have meltdowns you can show her some strategies to calm down. teach her to breath in and hold for a few seconds then out you can also do NVI which is non verbal imitation touch your nose or your head you can also say do this and have them clap and they have to copy your actions. Some children with autism like the feeling of deep pressure massage to help them calm down so you can give her arms a good deep pressure massage if she likes that. I have used this website for my students with autism it has great info. PBISWORLD.COM  it has good intervention strategies and tools to use. Our oldest is on the spectrum (he just turned 15 on Monday). You didn’t do this to her! Being a parent to a child on the spectrum is not easy by any means, but as she gets older you’ll see that when she manages to accomplish things on her own it’s sooo rewarding vs the other kiddos who it comes easier to.  
At that age we had a large weighted blanket for sleeping, a small lap one for car rides/while sitting to be read to etc, a bag of sensory toys, and a fabric sensory swing in his room. We found it was best to use things that calmed the sensory system regularly, even prior to the meltdown. The swing and the sensory toys were the best for meltdowns. We basically taught that he could be upset, but he needed to use his “tools”. It took time, but he got it and then would choose to go to this room to meltdown because he felt “safe” there so to speak.

My brother is very high on the spectrum and no. Verbal as well. It was extremely hard for all of us to adjust our life’s and learn how to deal with the many meltdowns but patience is key! Although the start of it was hard, Sign language really helped my brother because he was finally able to communicate with us. Also the right school for him helped so so much. It took so long to find the right one for him but when we did he was so much happier and they taught us so many things. Also good stimulations games helped, and learning when to and not to give into the tantrums. I can literally go on and on.
