Misdiagnosed miscarriage/ Misoprostol while pregnant

I’m really hoping someone can help guide me thru this confusing rollercoaster I’m on.

On Monday I had my first ultrasound, they were thinking I was around 7 weeks. The dr showed me the pregnancy sac and showed me how there was no embryo and that I miscarried. She gave me Misoprostol to remove the baby and sac to “jump start” the miscarriage. I was devastated. Laid in bed for 4 days while I bled.

Went back that Friday and saw a different dr. To make sure everything was removed. He told me it wasn’t. That there was the sac, embryo at 6 weeks and a little heart beat as well! Excited about the discovery, pissed and the misdiagnosis. My big question is, will Misoprostol now affect my baby? Autism, bone structure.

Has this happened to anyone before and the baby came out healthy?
