Yes it shows contractions, however, if you are moving a lot or tightening your abdominal muscles or anything of the sort the line will go up and down. That's what my doctor told me.

This was my chart but they have given me meds to stop the contractions. Back to the Dr today to check up on me and baby :-)

Yup. They should have put two monitors on your belly. Top is for babies heart rate and bottom is for contractions (strength and how long). Good luck!

Uterine pressure. I asked what that one meant at my non stress test today. If the pressure goes up, it indicates a contraction.
