Bad latch ?

My baby girl is BF but sometimes she get formula also but sometime when she’s on my breast after a good suck she struggle to get back a good latch and start going crazy  😩 is that a bad latch and should I stick to formula strictly or maybe just breast pump and have her take it from the bottle...... BF is stressful any advice? Iknow I need what’s best for baby

Try drying off both her mouth and your nipple. My guy is super sloppy and everything gets so wet that he falls off and can't get back on with a good latch because it's too wet 😂

We had to change bottles. When she would feed from a regular nipple it would be hard for her to readjust to my boob. Then we switched bottles to the nipple that's shaped like a boob and it has gotten better.

Maybe try comotomo bottle since they say it’s most like a nipple. Or it could be the flow. If the baby is frustrated at the boob then definitely could be flow because boob comes out slower most times. In that case try dr brown preemie nipples.

Could be a lot of things. Might need to burp, or prefers the fast flow at let down and gets mad when it slows and milk isn’t flowing as fast. Or even could be that the let down is too forceful. A lactation consultant would be able to help you figure it out.

I use a nipple shield since my baby has some trouble latching. Also my lactation consultant told me when he feeds for a bit then pulls off and goes crazy like that it could be because he got some air in his tummy and has a bubble, and that I should try taking him off and burping and then put him back on.
