So I’m very confused about the concept of a hormone break while on bc. I was on the pill and now I’m about to get my first break on the patch. But it’s not a real period, it’s bleeding from lack of hormones. So isn’t that like the equivalent of not taking your pill? So does that mean that I shouldn’t have unprotected sex during my break and the week that I go back on? I never worried about this because I was always using condoms too. But now I’m in a relationship and I don’t need that std protection. I’m just trying to be safe and not get pregnant
