Why am I 24 and I’m having trouble telling my parents I’m dating someone????

Like why is it so hard for me to tell them?

I think cause my parents are very judgemental and not always the best people to talk to. I mean don’t get me wrong they are supportive and nice but if they don’t like something or arent a fan of something believe me they will let you know and not in the best way
