So I went to the ER yesterday because I started bleeding lightly at 8 weeks and having symptoms of what I thought was bronchitis. Turns out it’s walking pneumonia. I was given an IV of fluids and antibiotics and saw the baby too. Heartbeat was 160bpm, but the bleeding has me worried. The doctor said it could be from the stress of pneumonia on my body. Today bleeding is totally brown and light. I think that’s a good thing, but I’ve had 2 miscarriages in a row and I’m 40, so I feel like I’ve got the odds stacked against me. I’ve got an OB appointment in 3 days so I’ll see if it’s progressing or not. Anyone have a similar experience? Thank you for any information.
