Let Down?

First time mom here. Probably a silly question but what is let down? My little one is now two days old and has been breastfeeding. I don’t have any actual milk yet but just trying to prepare myself for what I need to know. Does it hurt? What should you do with it? Help!

It's when your milk will come out of breast fast. You can definitely feel it. It's a weird stinging sensation. It can hurt

For me it hurts but it only lasts a few seconds when she latches on. It can be very intense or hardly noticeable. It gets better the older they get. I have to grit my teeth and count to 10 when she latches on but she’s only 8 days old and has a really aggressive latch.

To me it feels like someone rubbing my boob from the inside from top to bottom, it’s a little uncomfortable sometimes but not painful

It really depends on the person. I never felt my letdown when I breastfed or when I pump.
