How to know your boyfriend will never marry you??

Me and my boyfriend been together for a year and 4 months. He says he’ll marry me but he’s not saving any money for a ring. And never brings up marriage unless I do. How do I know he’ll never marry me? That he’s just wasting my time? We are having our first baby together in sept also

Lmao you haven’t even been together for long and you’re already expecting a ring and marriage? If he doesn’t talk about it, odds are, he’s not thinking about it. But if he said it’s what he ultimately wants, then he’s talking about in the future, like when he’s ready. Plus, I would be annoyed with someone if they’re constantly talking about marriage when you’ve only been together for a little more than a year. You should stop, otherwise you’ll chase him away.

Your relationship is brand new. It's barely been more than a year... I think you probably need to be adjusting your priorities.  For one thing, this is the time you're supposed to be gauging compatibility and building a foundation. My husband proposed after we dated for 6 months. For us it was a when you know, you know kind of thing. You don’t have to give this guy years of your life if marriage is what you want and he doesn’t. But you’re having a child together so maybe ask if he’ll go to premarital counseling with you to be sure you’re compatible and then do a courthouse wedding without an expensive ring if he’s worried about money.
