Help! Possible IB on 5DPO, but negative test on 12DPO?

Question

Had spotting on 5DPO and I suspect it was implantation bleeding. Fast forward, I took a test today at 12 DPO and it’s a negative. 
Does it mean I am out already? If it’s real IB, I would have gotten a positive test after 7 days right?

I think don’t think your out til AF shows. Your body doesn’t start producing HCG hormone until your egg has fully implanted. Which can be 6-12days. After that it can be another 3-5 days before your body produces enough to get a positive test. 
I’d test again in two days. I’ve seen a lot of posts of people who get negatives on 12DPO then positive on day 14 or 15
