Softer feet? Feet expert

Hey y’all I’m at a young tender age of 22 ... why are my feet so rough!!!? 
I’ve worked plenty of jobs requiring me to always be on my feet ( security being one of them) could that have anything to do with it? I’ve also had a baby so I never get the chance to sit down. My feet were never rough and calloused. What can I do? I want super soft feet. Calling all feet experts.

I soak my feet in warm water and then I scrub my feet with the foot grater. Then I apply foot creams after. I do this once or twice a week. It saves money rather than getting a pedicure and my feet are super soft.

Exfoliate at the end of your shower and use a good foot cream (I like burts bees coconut foot cream)

Wear shoes that fit properly. Rough spots are a sign your shoes don't fit right or aren't offering enough support over the whole bottom of the foot. Also, wear socks.
You can also make a scrub with unseasoned meat tenderizer (from the spice aisle at the grocery store), sugar and olive oil. Mix the tenderizer and sugar 50/50 (1-2 TBS each) then add enough olive oil that it looks like wet sand when mixed and mushed up together.
Use that 1-2x per week and follow with more olive oil.
You can add essential oils if you don't care for the smell of olive oil.
Also, buy a pumice stone.

Cosmetologist here- callouses serve a purpose. They protect what’s underneath because it’s been exposed to regular abuse. So if you no longer will be using your feet the same way you can work towards removing them. Otherwise, you need them. If you don’t want to go get pedicures, there’s a product called Baby Feet that works pretty remarkably and it’s safe. You can get it on amazon. Follow the directions explicitly! Do not peel or pick at your feet during the process! 
If you decide to go to get pedicures, steam clean if any nail salon that has poor ventilation (you shouldn’t smell anything at all) and make sure they use disposable and/or sterilized tools (they should come out of a sealed autoclave pouch). The last thing you want is an infection!

They are rough because you are on them all the time. Don't let them get too bad or they will crack and hurt. When I was working full time on my feet they were like that now I'm a stay at home mum and they are pretty soft

Go to the beach for walks regularly. It’s relaxing and the sand exfoliates your feet 🤣 seriously though.

This only happened to me when I moved to Florida! I wear flip flops and go barefoot all the time and it shows 😖. My husband wears socks and shoes most of the time and has baby soft feet. I tried a foot mask off of amazon and it really helped. They stayed soft and smooth for about 2 months. It’s better than soaking and scrubbing all the time imo.
