I called the midwife on call about half an hour ago because of the contractions I’ve been having this morning. When I got checked Friday I was 5 cm and 90% and I let her know that I live an hour away from the hospital I’m to deliver at and I’m kind of afraid that if I wait until go time then I won’t make it. She did tell me that if I’m uncomfortable with waiting at home that I can go in but she also told me to drink some more water and take 1000 mg of Tylenol and call her in an hour. I’m sorry but I’m 6 days away from my due date, halfway dilated and pretty much completely thinned. Why am I treating this like it’s not early labor?
