So I went to get my IUD removed Friday morning so we can start TTC. After 2.5 hours of poking, prodding, and transvag ultrasounds, THIS is how they found my IUD!!! I went into my OBGYN a few months ago complaining of pain and bleeding that was super abnormal for me and I was concerned my IUD had shifted. My OBGYN said I didn’t need an ultrasound and he was just going to preemptively treat me for an infection. I didn’t feel he was right but i thought maybe I was over thinking.... NOPE! Here we are a few months later and now I get to have SURGERY NEXT MONTH to get it removed. I am worried it will perforate my wall and give me even more problems but they can’t get me in any sooner.... moral of the story, if you think something is wrong, trust your gut (or uterus in this case. )
