Successful sweep at 38 weeks?

I'm having a sweep when I'm 38+2 can anyone share there positive 38 week sweep stories please need encouragement this will work 🙈🙏FTM 💙

I had a sweep done at 38weeks +2 days with my 1st daughter. My water broke 12 hours later and baby was here 7 hours after that.

I got swept at 38 weeks and 1 day. Sweep was done on Tuesday the 4th. I was 4cm , fully effaced, and baby was engaged at a station 1. I went home walked, went up and down stairs, bounced on the yoga ball, had sex and all I felt was crampy no spotting at all I thought it wasn’t working. I took a warm bath and went to sleep( I did not sleep at all, I was super uncomfortable the whole entire night.) Wednesday the 5th I wake up no spotting still and I felt normal. I went to start packing more stuff into boxes since we are mi big and I was squatted down as I stood up I felt wet so I ran to the bathroom and it was a big chunk of my bloody show. After that every time I used the bathroom and wiped I had bloody show coming out. Contractions started coming but were very far apart I rang my doctor and she told me to go in to be checked. I went in and I was 5cm but contractions were really far still so I came back home and just relaxed around 7 pm contractions started coming more frequently so I started timing them. Got to the hospital later on that night and was admitted at 12 am had the baby by 4:09am on the 6th it was very fast very intense but very smooth. I didn’t even push my baby slipped out herself. You don’t always have to spot in order for the sweep to work. If you are the type like I am that doesn’t spot when they do cervical checks you maybe won’t spot after a sweep. Only thing is that if your body isn’t ready the sweep won’t work that is the worse case scenario.
