Any ultrasound techs?!

Transvaginal at 10 weeks exactly and curious what the open spot next to baby is? OB said there is “for sure only 1 baby in there” which is totally okay with me and all I was expecting but would like to know what I’m looking at😅 Also any gender guesses are welcome! This is our tiebreaker baby💕

Definitely not bladder or ovaries.  Looks like you may have a small subchorionic hematoma.  Have you had any bleeding with this pregnancy?

Tech here ... Def not bladder or ovaries. Neither of those is inside your uterus on your endometrium, which is where this is. It actually looks like you have two separate subchorionic hemorrhages, little bleeds behind your placenta from implantation, as others have said. Very common, usually just takes some time to absorb.

To me it looks like an SCH ( subchorionic hemorrhage/hematoma )  but I'm obv no doctor so who knows for sure

Black spot behind baby is full bladder. Black color refers to fluids. Ovaries may have black round “circles” but those are follicles or corpus luteum when you are pregnant or cysts. Your looks like a bladder though. (Typically corpus luteum will shrink when placenta takes over)
