Have you done a membrane sweep? Did it start labor?

I’ve been swept at my last two appointments and both times I had cramping and contractions the whole day and night. No labour though

I had one done at 39+3 and nothing. I’ll have another one when I’m 40+2 if I don’t deliver before then

Had one May 30th and then June 5th. Had bloody show after the first. Now 2 days overdue and not in labour yet. Was 2cm, 80% effaced, baby at 0 station and cervix had moved to the front at my check on the 5th.

Yes on Wednesday the 5th it did help mucous plug start coming out as well as cramping but nothing else yet.

I had one with my 1st daughter and my water broke 12 hours later. Hoping to have a sweep done on Tuesday so that I will hopefully go into labor before my induction on Thursday.

I had one done on Friday. 2 days later, still no labour. I'm 40 weeks 3 days today.

Had one on Thursday. Mucus plug came out Saturday (like a LOT. I think either only a little bit came out a week before that or it was something else?) - no other symptoms since.
Due another tomorrow afternoon so we'll see...

I had one on Friday to try and help me but it hasn’t and I’m still going to have to be induced

Yes both times. I was 40w1d with my first and my water broke in my sleep that night/early morning @4AM. Had my daughter 25hrs later @4:53AM. 
With my second, I was 40w2d and was having contractions literally right after the sweep before I even left the room lol, I didn’t even leave my appointment yet and I was already in labor and had my son 4 1/2 hrs later.
