What to do with a newborn

Alright mommies 😅 once my newborn had a good long nap, then had to eat, burped and I changed his diaper, what do I do next with him while he is not sleeping? How do I entertain him? At night he goes right back to sleep after doing all of the things above, but during the day he can stay awake for 1-3 hours and I have no clue what should I be doing during that time 🤯

Hahaha. I just talk to him and make lots of eye contact. Some tummy time and walking around the house and he’s ready for another nap.

Wow, I wish my princess would be awake lol she has never been awake. If she's awake it's probably for a good 20 minute's or less

I pretty much narrate everything I do. 
I’ll put on music I like and sing along, and we’ll dance together. 
I’ll bat at hanging toys with him, and show him black and white images. You can literally google baby black and white images and print things out or get books on amazon.

I sit with him, make eye contact and talk to him a lot. Sometimes he likes to sit in his swing and watch what goes on around him. I wear him in our carrier, too, and do chores and play with my toddler.
