I’m taking Sprintec daily birth control and I take it very very religiously as my bf and I are sexually active now. My period is supposed to come in 3/4 days and I’m taking my placebo week now.

My question is: if we decide to get hot and heavy at all this week before my period comes am I still protected like I would be if I was taking the active pill? (Sometimes we use a condom and sometimes we don’t but he never cums in me). Should we use a condom to be on the safe side or am I still covered since my period is coming? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
