Would you be annoyed?

I had a few people specifically ask me to come to my shower, I told them I wouldn’t mind inviting them but it was about an hour away from them. They insisted that they would be there, so I moved some people off of my list to make room for these said people, and NOW they’re telling me they can’t make it. I’m so frustrated! I’m doing my shower at early due to family vacations and my SO work schedule

I know this same thing will happen with someone who asked to come to my shower. But I know they won’t come, so I’m not really kicking anyone else off the list for them.
