Last night I had a date with my boyfriend and it was really nice. We’ve been together for just over a week but seeing each other for 2 months.

He is quite jealous and has trust issues that we’ve been working on. He’s never been in a relationship before too.

Last night he says to me he doesn’t know if he can trust me since he has no mutual friends to ask about me. He is very concerned about cheating- unsure why, but it’s something I will discuss with him.. I told him he shouldn’t worry since my dad cheated on my mum and I’m not that type of person.

He gets really weird about it. He said I want you to be my gf but idk and I said to him what he was trying to say but he said he still wants to date me he just has trust issues. Also when guys say they want to date and call u their gf is that the same thing as a relationship and they just call it something else?

This makes me quite upset thinking about it bc I’ve got trust issues too. Do you guys think something has happened to him before or do u think it’s just an excuse or do u think he really likes me and is just scared to get hurt?
