Keeping the sex a surprise?

Question

We can find out the sex of our baby in a few weeks but I’m torn on whether I want to wait until birth or not. Let me know your thoughts and if you’ve ever waited to find out. We have boy and girl clothes and all the baby essentials already from our first. 
My husband won’t tell me his opinion so I have to decide 😥

I’ve always found out - I figure meeting your new baby is exciting enough, even if you already know what to expect between the legs, and it helps me personally to bond and be prepared, have names ready and all. It’s a personal choice but as far as I’m concerned waiting isn’t necessary or helpful.

2 boys 3rd surprise pregnancy, I told my husband let’s keep it all a surprise! He is not thrilled about it, but oh well! Haha
This is the ultimate surprise, and I have lots of labor and delivery nurses who tell me they are the best deliveries!

This is my fourth and I really want to wait for birth to find out but my husband wants to find out ASAP.  
I’m sure he will win... knowing would help us with planning and shopping since I want all of Xmas decor up, presents wrapped and all shopping entirely done by thanksgiving since my due date is dec 14 and my last one came a few weeks earlier than planned... plus I’ll be working a lot AND I’m really hoping get my 12 hours in on thanksgiving day since I’ll likely be out on maternity for Xmas and New Years.

With our son we waited and will be doing the same with this baby. 
We requested when my son was born that the dr or nurses didn’t say what it was and to let my husband announce the gender she baby came out. 
I will never forget that moment. He was bawling and could barely say it’s a boy, we made a beautiful son. It was an experience that no gender reveal party or ultrasound tech could come close to in my opinion.

I’ve always found out. I feel like seeing your baby for the first time is an exciting surprise even if you know the gender. I would get anxious not knowing. 😂

I'm pregnant with our first, we are waiting to find out. I think this time will be the only time though. My SIL is current pregnant with her 3rd. She has a girl and a boy already, so she decided not to find out this time.
