spotting

hey y’all. i have been spotting on and off now for a month and i am growing concerned about the cause. the last time i had sex was 9 weeks ago and i have had two periods since then and i am also on birth control? i know there is no chance of pregnancy (right?) because i got my period but i just don’t know what else it could be :(
