Randon toe walking at 17 months?

My LO just started walking on his toes. He doesn't do it always, but he does it throughout the day off and on. He started about a week ago. Is it normal for toddlers to start walking on their toes? He's 17 months and has been walking since 11 months

My little just started doing it recently too so maybe they are just getting better balance or it could be from her reaching up high to get stuff off of the counters and now she just likes doing it lol

Normal. They find it interesting to do. It's just a new skill. It would only be a cause for concern if it is something they do consistently all the time. My LO likes to walk on his tippy toes, stomp one left while walking and walking backwards 😂
