MTFHR - Does anyone else have this?

Hillary

Hey!

I’m not one to post things usually but am hoping someone on here has this and can give me some advice.

MTHFR is responsible for the breakdown of folic acid, which creates folate. ... During pregnancy, women who test positive for a mutated MTHFR gene may have a higher risk for miscarriages, preeclampsia, or a baby born with birth defects, such as spina bifida.

I have had 2 miscarriages and have been tested for this gene mutation.

I obviously don’t want any of those things listed above to happen to our future baby! It is recommended that I take a low dose baby aspirin daily. And once I get pregnant, I take a shot of heprin twice daily up until 36 weeks.

Does anyone have this gene mutation? Do you have one copy or 2 of it? Are you using Heprin and the low dose aspirin? Is there an alternative to the Heprin?

Please help!

Thanks!😁
