Full moon! Does it really have anything to do with going into labor?

So tomorrow night is the full moon and lunar eclipse. Family and friends keep telling me they think I'm going to go into labor tomorrow night. I don't know how much the moon has to do with bringing on labor but I'm almost 39 weeks and am def willing to take a walk under the moon! Anyone have some stories to share?

My cousin is an OBGYN and she said she always delivers more babies on full moon nights than any other time. It has something to do with the pull of the moon but I think only if your body is ready will you go into labor. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to go into labor! I'm 38w5d 😃

The labor and delivery nurses at the hospital down the road from me said they never noticed a particular increase in births during a full moon. I guess it could but it doesn't seem like it does in my town 😊

I've had this feeling all week mine is coming this weekend. I will be 38 weeks tomorrow. Now that I am officially on leave from work and it can fully relax, she will probably sense it is time.

I have a very spiritual friend that I'm surprised hasn't messaged me about this and asking if I feel anything yet haha. I'm a cancer so very drawn by the moon to begin with. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if I go in tonight or tomorrow. Just a feeling plus things are really picking up again.  38+3 today over 2cm dialated 60ish percent effaced (as of Wednesday) and very low so any day now haha.
