Rash on nape of neck. Should I be concerned?

Looks like a nevus simplex, AKA “stork bite” or birthmark. My baby has the same thing. They are pretty common and usually temporary or will at least fade over time.

Thanks everyone- this is reassuring. I just feel silly not seeing it until now, and didnt know if it was a new rash or had been there the whole time!

Stork bite, all three of my kids have them. You can still notice my sons when he gets mad or cries hard they turn red, he is almost 6.

Both my babies had this. Doctor confirmed stork bites. They will fade or go away over time. Nothing to worry about

My son has this but I think it was from rubbing on bibs and his onesie. Once he started to fill them out more and they weren't so loose it went away. He has a stork bite in his eyelid and "Mongolian spots" on his back and butt.

It's at the nape of her neck, under her hair. 
I've never noticed it before, but in also wondering if I just never saw it because of the hair. It's not raised or bumpy, just a flat redness to her skin.
