camping with kids?

Question

It’s almost the end of the school year for my daughter (she finishes on the 21st) and I don’t know what to do this summer. We have two younger kids ( 2 and 4, she’s 6) and last summer we talked about going camping but since our youngest one wasn’t potty trained yet we decided against it. 
Now I’m wondering if it’s a good idea. We only have a tent, not a camper or anything. Does anyone have experience with this that could give me advice?

I've been taking my daughter in since tent since she was 3.5 months old and camping is actually how we were able to break the habit of bed sharing  She's always loved it and especially does now that she can walk and run around and look at things. If you go just make sure you bring tons of clothes for each kiddo and have some clothes for warm weather and some for colder weather since you never know what the weather will be until it happens.

I haven’t taken my daughter camping yet but this question was asked in a group I follow on fb and I was surprised to see many people were saying they took their children that were 6 months old. I’m sure they would sleep fine from the sound of nature lol.
