I'm 32 and my husband is 36. We met when I was 16 and he was 20.
I don't really like our "how we met" story. I was going through a rebellious/ depressive stage and he was working at the video shop down the road. The one day I noticed him and his friend staring at me and I thought he was pretty cute so the next time I wore a mini skirt to really get their attention.
His friend actually approached me first, but I started hanging out more with my husband and we made it official after a month of sneaking out, hanging out at the video shop, going to bars, etc. 
My family though my husband was encouraging this behaviour but he wasn't, I was doing it of my own accord. But obviously that didn't bode well and then my mom's car happened to get broken into so they called the police on him. We were banned from seeing each other and all sorts.
Jokes on them because 16 years later were still together.
