Baby Shower for 4th baby?

We are TTC our 4th. We have 3 boys now, and didn’t have a baby shower with the 2nd or 3rd as we have saved pretty much everything from the 1st. 
Would you have a baby shower if #4 was a girl?

No, baby showers are for the first baby. I find it tacky to have more than one.

My friend had one for her 12th baby in February. Mind you, this is her last baby and she didn't have a shower for any of the others, so her friends did it for her as sort of like a big deal because it's her last baby. 
I don't think the baby no. matters if it's the first shower you've had. If you'd had showers for all of them then I think that would be a bit greedy.

Yep. I have a boy but if I have a girl next, I'll have nothing for her! Well I mean like the swings and chairs and blankets and stuff, but no clothes. So maybe like something small and make sure your guests know that you don't need certain things.

Well first, it’s not polite to arrange your own shower. That’s just asking for presents. Instead, a close friend (not a relative) might be inspired to host one for you. Is someone offering or insisting on hosting a shower for your 4th child? If not, there’s no dilemma - you just don’t have a shower.  But if someone cares enough to host it for you (and you didn’t ask them to), I think you can choose yes or no. Expect it to be smaller. Maybe suggest calling it a “sprinkle” instead of a shower.

Sure I had 2 I had my son first we didn’t find out his sex until he was born when I go pregnant with my 2nd we found out we were having a girl and my family had a little “sprinkle” for me mostly all clothes for her nothing grand.
