I don’t need a guy to tell me what he likes or doesn’t like about my makeup. I wear it for myself, if you think it makes me uglier then fine just keep your mouth shut lol. It helps my confidence and telling me that would probably make me feel like shit about myself 🤷🏻‍♀️

Obviously you should never tell someone they look ugly with makeup, but it’s okay for people to have preferences. My boyfriend thinks I’m beautiful with and without makeup, but he says he likes me more without because he’s obsessed with my freckles. He would never call me ugly though. So yes, that’s pretty shitty of the ex and pretty great of her new BF for taking interest in what she obviously likes to do.
