3rd trimester??

I thought 28 weeks was 3rd trimester?? I’m only 26 weeks today!

Mathematically it starts at 26 weeks 4 days and 16 hours. (40/3=13.3) and 1/3 of a week is 2 days and 8 hours. So the end of week 26 is when you start the third trimester.
Sorry I’m a math nerd and had to know exactly since there’s so much info

I wouldn’t rely on an app tho.
Standard practices say 28 weeks.

My doctor said 27 weeks and so is everything in searching online so I’m gonna go by that tbh - some say 28 some say 27 in just gonna go as 27 cos I’m technically in my 28th week when I hit 28 weeks

Glow is strange because mine also said 3rd trimester st week 26 but then on another day in the “ premium” section under “More about week 27” it says that week 27 is the last week of the 2nd trimester.
Most obgyn go by 28 weeks around here, I assume because pregnancy can go to 42 to weeks which would be 14 weeks for each trimester, but that’s just a guess haha
