Input please! Picking a day to be induced-would you pick to deliver on YOUR birthday or the day after?

My birthday is 6/25... My OB gave me two days to pick from, induce 6/24 and have baby on my birthday or induce on my birthday 6/25 and have baby the day after. Part of me thinks it would be awesome to share a birthday (it would be a special day AND I’m not spending my bday every year preparing for her bday and also not potentially hungover on her bday if I ever had a bday party again...haha). But a lot of people have said to have the separate days. This is my first baby so I’d love opinions on sharing or NOT sharing a bday!! (Hopefully she comes before!)

Honestly I would pick the day after. My mom and I have our birthdays ten days apart which I don't mind but I really don't think that I would have liked to share my birthday with her. It's kind of like people who have birthdays close to Christmas they always get joined together. I would want my own day just like you would want yours. Even being apart would still be special I think.

Day after! In the future your birthday will get forgotten a bit, I think. you’ll be spending your birthday doing kids parties every year! I would rather have my own day x

I’m a twin so have always had to share my birthday, don’t know any different m. I think it’s quite sweet you will share the same date, but everyone’s different. Best of luck either way. Xx

My due date is June 21st, which also happens to be mine and my husbands birthday!! I am being induced on June 18th... but only due to an umbilical cord issue. Not because I got to choose. If I got to choose though, I would go with before or after our birthday.. I guess I just want my son or daughter to have their own special birthday!😊

Induction takes a while. You can start the process and not deliver until the following day so it’s really a wait and see kind of deal. You can be induced the 24th and deliver the 25th, or be induced the 25th and deliver the 26th. Or deliver the same day or need a c-section. It’s important not to set expectations and just pick one and role with it😀

I think when the days are that close the difference is negligible so you might as well have it on the same day to have something special together. 
Any parties you'd be planning would probably be on the weekend anyway, which it mostly wouldn't fall on, so you could plan one party for the weekend before and one for the weekend after and then have a cute little family celebration for yourselves on the day of too if you want to. Have fun with it, make your own traditions for what you want to do.

I’ve done a lot of thinking about this because my due date is the 26th and my birthday is the 27th. 
At first, I was kind of upset because I knew if she was anything like me, I’d never have a birthday again😂
But, then I thought it’d be kind of cute to share a birthday. So, I vote share a birthday!
