Drinking Milk While Breastfeeding?

I just had some of my husband’s frappuccino and I realized that it contains cow’s milk. Is my baby going to have stomach problems? He’s one week old and breastfed.

Only of he has a milk sensitivity. Some babies do, most don't.

I consumed dairy while breastfeeding both of my kids and it was fine. My kids don’t have issues with dairy. Just pay attention and on the lookout to see how your baby feels

It’s fine. My kiddo is even allergic to dairy (she breaks out in hives if she eats it or touches it) but is fine drinking my breast milk after I’ve had dairy.

I have heard it can actually help prevent allergies in Baby if you still consume common allergens while breastfeeding since it exposes them to it a little at a time.

You’re ok! Not every baby has issues with milk or dairy. I had cereal, yogurt and coffee (milk and sugar) when my daughter was first born and she was a colicky baby so I cut out dairy and it didn’t make a difference lol longest 2 weeks of my life!
