No GBS swab?

So I’ve been waiting for a GBS swab my last couple appointments and I have yet to have one. Has anyone else just not get one? I’ll be 38 weeks tomorrow and have my csection planned for next Wednesday the 19th. I guess my doctor doesn’t expect me go into labor before then? I remember getting it done with my daughter so I have no idea what’s going on but I hope she knows what she’s doing 😂

Is it because your having a planned c-section maybe?? I thought it was mostly to protect baby if you are having a vaginal birth.. so you don’t pass it to the baby. I could be wrong though!

I got mine at 36 weeks, I would definitely call your doctor and ask

Most likely because of planned c section. I'm having a planned c but my doc checked just in case things change.

Don’t worry.. I got mine at 36 weeks and had to get induced at 37 weeks and for some reason the results where not ready and the RN put antibiotics via IV regardless the outcome of the results...

I got mine at 36 weeks. My c section is planned for Friday. I would call and confirm that they havent missed it on accident.

No GBS swab?
