Chance of another ultrasound?

My doctor normally does 2 ultrasounds one in the beginning and one around 20 weeks. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes on Friday. I have a check up on Friday and then my counseling for the diabetes a week from Wednesday so I haven't been able to ask or anything but is there a chance I'll get another one now? I know from you guys it's all a guess but just curious if anyone has experienced this and I'm trying to find a positive....
