My 2yo son hates me

Ok... so I know he doesn’t actually hate me but that’s how I feel sometimes. He is a daddy’s boy, wants nothing but daddy, daddy this, daddy that... when I try to come over and play with him he screams no and/or tries to push me away. He will hit me when I tell him something he doesn’t like (I know this can be normal because they don’t know yet how to properly express their emotions). I’m currently 8 months pregnant with our second baby and my son will come up to me and will either hit, head but, pinch, scratch or bite my belly. My husband and I are working on curbing this behavior but it hurts my feelings so badly and my husband just doesn’t understand why it affects me so. I would never do this but sometimes when my son gets a good wack in, I get the urge to slap him across the face and it breaks my heart that I would even feel that way.

I hope he grows out of this stage soon. Here’s a pic of my little love that seems to despise his mommy
