Miscarriage threat

So starting from the beginning I had a hemorrhage so i was getting weekly scans and last week I seen heartbeat and baby was 7 weeks 5 days .Today when I went for my scan they first did abnormal scan and said can't find heartbeat so I had to do internal scan they still couldn't find heartbeat I was supposed to be nearly 9 weeks pregnant .They said to come back next week to confirm miscarriage as that's there policy .I just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else? what was the outcome ?

Can I still hope to hear a heartbeat next week?
