No seperation anxiety...

My LO is 17 months old. I've only ever left him with 2 people who he knows well and is close with. I've been working every weekday since he turned a year. He has only ever cried once when I was leaving because he was sick and I felt like a shitty mom but I couldn't find a replacement and had to go into work but he was with Grandma so I knew he would be in good hands. I obviously don't want my LO to ever feel upset and am somewhat relieved but the crazy paranoid mom in me is a little worried. Is it normal that he doesn't cry when I leave?

A little backstory... I guess I'm concerned because from 2 months - 6 months old he would ONLY let me hold him, not my husband or family members so I figured he would have horrible seperation anxiety in the future so I'm just shocked that he doesn't.
