Am I wrong?

Question

So I told my SO that I was probably going to have dinner with some friends since we’re moving out of state. All he says is “yeah”. So I’m super confused and I go “okaaaay?” Then he just blows up saying I never let him go hang out with his friends and have a drink or anything. So I’m like that’s because you want to go out at like 11pm and come back whenever and it’s common curtesy to be home with me and your son (1yr) at that hour. Then he’s like well if you guys are sleep it shouldn’t be a problem, you just always want me to be home and stuck up your ass. So my question is am I wrong? Like should I be okay with him wanting to go have a drink at night with his buddies? Or is he wrong? Should he understand he has a family and shouldn’t be going out late at night?

Just because he has a family doesn't mean he cant go have a night out once in awhile. Hes an adult, he should be able to come home without waking everyone up.

I feel sorry for him.
He hasn't had a night out with his buddies because you think men need to be home when you and child basically asleep and not have guy time with their buddies.
My man just says hes gonna go drinking with his buddies and I just tell him "ok have fun" why? Because he works hard and is a great dad. He deserves to relax and hang with friends. It's not like your hubby going to go do cocaine or fuck some hoes. He is just going to have a DRINK with his FRIENDS. Stop being controlling.

I think you should be able to go have dinner with your friends, but I also dont see the issue with him going to have drinks on occasion with his friends, even if it's late.

Breathe. And sacrifice. This should be win-win. 
He should spend most time with his family. You should have dinner with friends. And he should get a guy night every once in a while. 
But when you get caught up in making the other see it your way, you’re not really communicating or being fair. 
Have a win win strategy here. Nothing sounds outrageous.

Yes you’re completely wrong. Why is he being denied what you’re telling him you’re going to do? I know you probably came her hoping for validation but personally I find it kind of insulting. I’m not saying he should be out every single night drinking with friends until whenever but once in awhile yeah, he deserves socialization and adult conversation outside of your relationship.

It’s ok that you go out with your friends but he does have a point. 
He isn’t asking to go out with his friends EVERY single night and it seems like you don’t understand that. He’s allowed to go have fun every once in a while with friends just like you do and him having a family doesn’t mean that he has to have a curfew. He’s a grown man and as long as his isn’t doing anything to disrespect your family, I don’t see any issue.

If my husband wanted to go out here and there I'd be happy to take care of our children by myself. Regardless of the time. His friends are still childless so they tend to make plans later. It's truly not that big of a deal. I'd definitely be annoyed if someone was telling me they didn't want me going out but then turned around and said they were going out.
