AVENT BOTTLES!! my god son has the worst acid reflux and those bottles are the only ones that actually worked. We tried everything! And my doctors says that's her #1 recommendation for bottles

It all depends on your baby. I tried tomme tippee, dr. Brown, and finally settled with playtex vent air. Most people would swear the others are better and they may have been for their child, but mine needed to slow down so the vent airs worked best for us. I wouldn't buy a whole stock of bottles until you know which is best for your baby. We nursed for a while, but when I wanted to pump, she would suck the milk out of the bottle to quickly. The vent air with premie nipples were the only thing that slowed her down.

With our first we tried every bottle under the sun. We hated Avent and Dr. Browns and plenty others...for us they would always leak. We tired and loved Born Free bottles and plan on using them again for baby #2.

The bottle I've found to be the most like a real nipple is the Lanisoh line of bottles. Babies who are being breastfed and supplementing with a bottle tend to do really well with these. Not all stores carry them in the store, but you can get them online (I know target offers them online).

I looked at a bunch of bottles and bought a few that looked like an actual breast, and we tried those. My son never really took to a bottle though. He wanted to nurse. After he figured out he could hold out until I came home for lunch to nurse then came home again after work, he stopped taking bottles completely. :-P  But when they did work, the tomee tippee naturals worked best. No reflux or gas.
