What should I do?!

Question

So my son is EBF. However he will be starting daycare soon. When I do pump I’m not getting enough milk to provide for daycare. I’m not able to pump after every feeding bc he cries hysterically 😩 so I end up picking him up.
I need advice on pumping 
- how to distract him while I pump (his father is on deployment)
- best bottles / nipples
-increase supply FAST (boosters, etc)
And basically anything you guys did to start baby on bottle and to start pumping 
HELP YOU GUYS 😂 I would prefer to stay off formula all together or maybe just use it to get my supply up

You can also get a haakaa. I got a off brand one on Amazon for half the price and it is amazing. It uses suction to hang onto the breast you aren't feeding off and catches your milk on your letdown. I used to get about 2 ounces. You can save it up in the fridge and when you get enough for a bottle freeze it in a bag. I used to leak a lot and would also catch a couple ounces in the shower. Throughout the day you can save enough ounces to make a bottle or two. You really only need enough in the freezer for a day or two. When you go back to work, if you can pump, you should be able to produce enough for the next day and then only use the freezer for the first day if daycare and to compensate for growth spurts.

Once you go back to work, will you be able to pump at least 3 times per day? If so, your pumping while away from your baby will produce enough for daycare the next day. Dont worry about building up a store of breast milk. Also, for now, wait until your baby has eaten and pump after. It wont seem like a lot but it's worth it.

So basically what I do is pump twice and work and Once at night . I send the milk i pump at work the next day. Baby is 8 month and still only drink 4oz of BM at a time so 12 ounces even 9 at daycare is good for her. She rather be on my breast but daycare makes it work. Pumping after feedings never worked for me.

Many moms struggle with getting enough time to pump at work, or keep up supply. So I would say pump away from now and build that stash. As baby goes to daycare his needs for milk increases because he is growing and hes notnwith you to nurse in the way that naturally builds your supply for his growing needs. Your question is how to help with the pumping not advice on if to or not. 
Your body responds differently to the pump, nothing drains you like baby. Pumping was hard for me. Initially I could not get much out and I didnt start pumping early  I started when baby was like 6 months as I was home with him. 
Things I did that worked.
1. Drink lots of water during the day, hydration is key to milk supply. Also drink water just before pumping to help flow. I would drink like a 16oz bottle just before I pump and another while pumping. This was one of the main thinga that helped me.
2. Eating oatmeal everyday helped me with supply. Or you can take supplements.  I tried fenugreek it worked but I found this changed the smell of my milk so I stopped.  Their are other supplements though.
3. Pump right after baby finish drinking. Tricks body into producing more. Plus baby is full so he may be okay without mom for a little while while you pump.
4. The early hours of the morning I got my biggest amount. So I would power pump when I wake to feed baby in the morning hours like 3am and 6am. It's tough, but so worth the stash to have a big supply for daycare. 
5. I would power pump. Pump for a few minutes on one side and switch to the other then back to the other side and of course back to the next. Basically pumping each side twice in a session to help get the milk. For menthe initial pump got nothing much but the rest while I went to the other side helped  because when I pumped again it would flow. I cant explain that just how my body worked. 
Note: ebf and pumping are hard. Is like you feeding 2 babies. It can get taxing. But if you want that stash for daycare keep you eye on that. Sit in front the TV, watch a good show, have a good magazine or play music, do something to help the time fly.
