Do you prefer watching news or reading the news

I prefer to read the news either on paper or on my phone than actually watching the new unless we are having severe weather then I like to leave the tv on the weather channel until we are in the clear.

Watching the news on any of the mainstream channels is a disservice to oneself. It’s all propaganda. I’m careful with the sources that follow, because I know they are all pushing their own agenda and not delivering unbiased news.

Exact same. I like to watch severe weather newscasts on TV but other than that I won’t watch news. I read news on my phone but if it’s in video format I won’t look at it.
Oh, except I have watched some televised congressional events and a few political debates.

Read it. I like watching in-depth news stories, though. If one of our local stations is doing an investigative report, I’ll watch it. Otherwise, I prefer reading it; it’s easier for me to fact-check. 
ProPublica is one of my favorites, and they aren’t on TV. 
I’ll listen to NPR, because I’m old. 👵🏻
