Teething fever?

I’ve gotten conflicting info from doctors/ nurses...can teething cause fevers?

Mine gets a low grade fever (I know doctors say teething doesn’t cause fevers.. but how is it that my baby has had a fever with all 10 teeth she has then.. 🤔). There’s always the possibility of an ear infection too.

It will cause a low grade one, which they might not be considering a “fever”. My doctor doesn’t consider it a fever until it’s 101 or higher. So maybe that’s why they’re saying it doesn’t?

I'm confused too. One Dr told me it's not the teething that causes the fever, it's the biting and chewing into things that does.
But how come every time it's a fever and not some other thing? a caugh or something? I don't understand this 🙄😅

For us it did with my son. With every molar, he had 100-101 fever.  My daughter is now seemingly the same, has had some fevers while molars coming in. 🤷🏼‍♀️
