My 9 week old smoochy is having a rough day today. She usually naps several times a day, but today she hasn’t slept longer than a total of 1hr since she woke up at 6AM. It’s close to 6PM here now.

I can see she’s exhausted and overstimulated and I’m trying my best to help her sleep but nothing is working. She sleeps maybe 10 mins while nursing but then something wakes her up. Not sure what’s going on 😭

She’s been fussing and crying a lot and I completely broke down with her today.

It’s been 9 weeks of so many ups and downs since her birth, but I’ve managed to keep it together. Today, seeing her this exhausted and not being able to help her really wore me down.

For the last hour or so, I’ve been walking around the house with her in my arms and we’re both howling.

I’m sure I’m not the first mom to do it, just sayin’...the things we do as mothers!
